Pancreatic Cancer Canada

This year an estimated 5,500 Canadians will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Most of these patients will be given less than a year to fight, to live their lives, and make memories with their families.

At Pancreatic Cancer Canada, we see the desperate need for more effective treatments that will give patients more quality time with their loved ones. We believe the greatest chance we have at creating a brighter future for those with pancreatic cancer is by working with the most innovative researchers and clinicians across the country through the PancOne™ network.  Pancreatic cancer is set to be the 2nd deadliest cancer by 2030.

We have also piloted a brand-new support program for families and patients to offer wholistic counselling through the different stages of this disease.  Our unique and targeted collaboration with Wellspring was launched last year and we had such tremendous results, we are expanding it throughout the country.

Our last pillar of support is to educate and support the 10,000 general practitioners to promote early diagnosis and awareness of pancreatic cancer.
